Job Overview And Responsibility

As a Senior QA, you are responsible for quality of features both automation and manual side. You must have strong manual test technique and think outside the box abilities. You will design test plans, test strategy, analyze business, write test cases, build environment tests (docker, setup cloud machine, SQL server…), cooperate with other teams and assign tasks to members in the team, test web applications, post bugs and design report tests. Beside that you will design, build and execute automation tests script for most of the features, maintain the current tests script and also detect issues.

• Act as a QA gatekeeper. Bad implemented features should not be leaked to production.
• Define test plan, design tests, coordinate manual testing team. Estimate time required to complete planned testing.
• Design, develop and execute test cases on component/integration and end to end level to ensure product quality. Write and maintain clear, precise bug reports to submit to the bug tracking system.
• Analyze defects and test results to be able to deduct the chain of events leading to a failure.
• Be able to create, compose and share knowledge across the QA team.
• Communicate ­ Talk to Engineers and Ops daily. Work with development teams to reproduce and resolve problems.

• Active participation in Agile Scrum sprint testing, regression testing, demonstration and solution releases.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years automation testing experience, 1+ years testing web application experience.
• Experience with (at least one of them) Java, Selenium, Arquillian Graphene Test, TestCafe, Cypress.
• Experience on clarifying feature requirements with developers and product owners in a very dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Experience on software development methodologies and quality processes.
• Experience with CI/CD Jenkins, Docker containers, Splunk, GIT and Linux Systems

Prefer if candidate have

• Experience on API Testing, writing PostMan script is a plus
• Good understanding of relational database design and transactional SQL and DBMS (Postgres, Vertica, Redshift), experience setup and configuration SQL server is a plus.
• Experience on Jira, Agile methodology is preferred.
