Job Overview And Responsibility

• ­Work with client/team leader to clarify requirements as needed
• ­Participate in designing, developing and implementing the software
• ­Create and perform unit test and troubleshoot the software
• ­Participate in design/code reviews
• ­Improving the productivity of the team through
• introducing best practices, new technologies and guiding the team to apply them in their daily works.
• ­Establishing & maintaining technical relationships with the team and client technical professionals.
• ­Be able to review source code and break tasks for team member is a plus.
• ­Mentor junior developers.
• ­Other tasks assigned by team leader.

Required Skills and Experience

Year of Experience: 2­-3 years of experience

English Communication

Technical:

• 2­-5 years overall experience, with an emphasis on DevOps and CI/CD type work
• 2 years experiences performing desired state management using Puppet
• Expertise in deployments, upgrades, maintenance and issue resolution to a Puppet Enterprise infrastructure with multiple load balanced compile masters supporting 10k+ managed nodes
• 2 years experiences in Ruby scripting. Experience with other languages such as Python, Perl or Go is also helpful.
• Experience scripting in shell languages such as kornshell and especially PowerShell, as GEICO’s environment is predominately Windows-­based.
• Demonstratable work creating custom Puppet modules or complex software deployments using Puppet
• 2 years experiences in systems administration tasks across Windows and Linux, including working knowledge of network segmentation, firewalls, load balancing
• Working knowledge of interacting with public cloud infrastructures via API, and in specific, working with Azure
• Experience with infrastructure­-instantiation focused tools such as Terraform and Cloud Formations is useful
