​Job Overview And Responsibility

• You will be responsible for PHP development and content management system integrations.
• You will work with our front-end development team to integrate themes into backend environments.
• You will work on websites, web apps, landing pages and various marketing materials.
• You will work on integrations via API with third party systems.
• You will be expected to test your work for quality assurance and security compliance.
• You will work with our Senior Backend Developer and Technical Director to build robust, secure and scalable systems.
• Code must be of a high standard.
• You must deliver on-time and on-budget, working closely with our project management team.
• You will be expected to make recommendations and bring innovative solutions to the table.
• You must have a great attitude and build positive relationships with our clients and team.
• You will ensure the team understands the capabilities of your technical recommendations.
• You will embody the company visions and values, believing in what we do.
• You are expected to stay up to date with the latest technology.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of PHP development experience.
• Experience with Symphony PHP framework.
• SilverStripe CMS experience highly desirable.
• MySQL experience.
• Basic front end development experience (HTML / CSS / JS, Gulp, Webpack).
• Experience with API integrations (Google Maps API, payment gateways, Rest API, GraphQL).
• Understanding of MVC design patterns.
• Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming.
• Experience with passing penetration tests and PHP unit testing.
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
• Experience working with Github / BitBucket.
• Experience with package managers such as composer.
• Can communicate in English.
• Good problems solving skills.
